Helping you with vacating tenants

Happy endings don't just belong in fairy tales. They are just as important when your tenant decides to move house.

It's so easy to focus on the exciting future rather than the mundane present. In the case of tenants, having mentally said "goodbye" to your property, they may overlook certain obligations.

Our job is to make sure they know what their obligations are, and to make it as painless as possible for them to do the right thing by you.

You'll have peace of mind, knowing we'll ensure that...

  1. Your tenant receives a "vacating checklist" of requirements that they must comply with on vacating the property.
  2. We notify you that your tenant is vacating the property.
  3. Your property is placed back on the vacancy list, and placed in the vacancy portfolio.
  4. We advertise your property as close as possible to moving day, depending on when your outgoing tenant gives us access. We do this in the Courier Mail on Saturdays and Wednesdays, and on our website.
  5. We place a "For Rent" sign on your property, with permission from yourself and/or the body corporate.
  6. We carry out an inspection when your tenant vacates the property and hands in the keys to us
  7. If your tenant has carried out all instructions and left the property in an acceptable state, then we refund their bond on your behalf.
What do our property management clients say about us?
"They're really good; I've had no problems. I've really had nothing to do with my investment property. They get the tenants-I don't have to think about it!"  -Grant McCarthy of Elizabeth Bay,  New South Wales, whose unit is at Morningside.
